postkarten.... postcards

Mir ist gerade aufgefallen, dass ich schon ewig keine Postkarten mehr gepostet habe, dabei hab ich mittlerweile echt schon einige bekommen.
Die hier ist aus Virginia und zeigt den Campus des Sweet Briar colleges. Wenn ich mir dagegen überlege, wie es bei uns an der Uni aussieht *seufz*
Ich wünsch euch ein schönes Wochenende. Für mich gehts heute auf die Kirchweih.

I just noticed that I havent posted postcards for a while, although I really have gotten some nice ones.

Diplomarbeit.... Diploma thesis

Hi ihr,
so, für alle, die in den letzten Wochen ein bisschen auf meine Post warten mussten und sich mein Gejammer anhören mussten..... Es hat ein Ende... Ich hab sie heute abgegeben und jetzt hab ich das auch hinter mich gebracht. Is schon echt ein komisches Gefühl, aber irgendwie auch gut. und jetzt werd ich erstmal faulenzen und genießen, dass ich nicht den ganzen Tag vorm PC verbringen muss. Danke an euch alle für eure Geduld mit mir und für die lieben und unterstützenden Worte. Das hat mir schon immer geholfen.

so now some good news from me to those who had to wait in the past weeks longer for my letters and who always had to read my complainings... now it's over ;) I brought the thesis to the students office. It's kind of a strange feeling, but the longer I think about it, the more I like it :) And now I just relax and enjoy the time that I don't have to sit in front of my Computer. Thanks to everyone for the patience and for the nice words you sent to me. It really helped me.

Sooooo, endlich ist die Sonne wieder da und da macht das Basteln doch auch gleich viel mehr Spass und aus diesem Grund hab ich eine blumige Dekoration für meinen Tisch gemacht. Ich hatte in dem Blumenkurs ein Gestell gemacht für zwei Einzelblüten, aber ich fand es eignet sich auch bestens für Papierblüten. Und hier is das Ergebnis auf meinem kleinen Beistelltisch :)

Sooooo, finally sun is back again after some rainy and cold days. And sun increases creativity and that was the reason why I made this nice bloomy decoration for my table. I had made this frame for two single blossoms in the course at the florist, but I thought it would be great to use it besides and so I made some paper flowers and decorated it at my side table :)

Soooo, nun melde ich mich doch auch mal wieder zu Wort... Irgendwann so zwischendrin sind auch mal wieder drei Karten entstanden :) Und die will ich euch doch nicht vorenthalten *g* Ich hoffe sie gefallen euch. Ich wünsch euch einen guten Start ins Wochenende und hoffe, dass es bei euch nicht zu heißt ist. Hier ist es gerade ganz angenehm. Ich hab mir gerade einen leckeren Smoothie gemischt, den ich jetzt genießen werde...

Soooo, here I am finally again.... Somewhen this week... between writing and sweating... I created those three cards :) And I wanted to show them to you :) I really hope you like them and I hope you have a great start in the weekend. Hopefully the weather isn't too hot. Here it is still okay, but I think it gets hotter later. I just mixed a tasty smoothie and I am going to enjoy it now on my balcony.
